Leil Haseder...

Our leil haseder was nice .We were only 7 .Our family and Avi's sister and her son.The food was great and I got nice compliments , sure made me feel good after working so hard.

After weeks of cleaning , washing and cooking ,Passover is finally here. Tonight we'll all celebrate Leil haseder ,the first night of Passover.

This card was sent to Kirsi . It's her birthday next week..I didn't want to post it here before she would receive it so it would be a surprise.She wrote me she had received it today so here it is.The card was made with violet stickers and I used sketch #7 by Nicola

getting ready for Passover...

Thought I'll write you cause I have been kind of MIA and will be for the coming week.It is busy here we are getting ready for Passover which means a lot of cleaning UGH! .Then this passed week our DD was sick and between getting ready for Passover I spent the days at the doc's office, lab and E.R.Everything is fine now Thank G-d (we still have to do some labs though)but it was one of those weeks . I 'm finally seeing the end for this madness of cleaning ,though I still have a lot to do.I did get pretty angry with myself on Wednesday . We had renovations and a central A/C set a few months ago as some of you might remember and we moved our furniture from one wall to the other and there was this spot on the wall I was waiting to clean and thought I would do it before the holidays well I tried to wipe it off , but instead I made the whole wall with stripes ,which meant I had to paint the d...wall now .I was so mad I touched it .I should have left it the way it was .So there I was painting yesterday ,sure felt my back and arms when I was done.I used to do this every year ,but I guess I can't do it with the same energy anymore .I feel old UGH!It wasn't this hard before .

I hope I'll be done till Thursday morning ,just to change the dishes and start cooking.I added the link here so if you want and are interested you can read what Passover is all about.

Golf birthday

another card for Nicola's sketch challenge at my paper world and the card goes to my DB who's birthday is in about 2 weeks.He is lately into golfing.The image is from a friend and I colored it with my new aquarell colors.My first try on them.

A New Arrival...

This card is for Lynn Anne and Ian from Jewish-scrapooking.com they had their third child about a week and half ago.Mazel tov!!!This card was supposed to be a surprise but as it is made for a sketch challenge by Nicola at My Paper World and due next Saturday I thought I better post it here .

I have been pretty much MIA .We have had issues with our Internet connection but as it seems now I fixed it,lol It needed some serious unplugging of the modem and now it works like an angel Chamsah Chmasah ,LOL .We have a technician come in tomorrow and check out the modem ,hope he won't mess up anything,lol.
I have been busy making a military album for a friend's commander retiring from the army and of course I have been busy with the Bar Mitzvah invites .I finally finished them ,100 of them .
In about two weeks it's Passover and I need to start cleaning the house.I do hope to have some time for carding though.
