I needed a quick card yesterday for my daughter's friend's birthday. She likes the leopard style as pretty much everyone these days .I knew I had the paper to fit and I had this Lion image ready colored in my stash so decided to use it. Not the same animal,I know , but a pretty good fit here at least in my opinion and to make it girly some pink.It reads mazel tov "on the bottom of the card.
This is a wedding card I made for our neighbour ,she got married last week .The sentence "Ani le dodi ve dodi li" is a very beautiful phrase in the Hebrew Language. It can be roughly translated as "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine." It is a phrase that was taken from the Song of Songs (a book of the Old Testament of Bible). This book is the celebration of a bride and groom. Many circles think that the groom is King David. The book offers praise and love to the beloved.
While this phrase is found within a religious text, it is very romantic. It is simple but it is so romantic because it shows the commitment a person has toward the beloved.
